The month of March has been designated as Human Rights Month!
We will focus on patients' rights and responsibilities throughout the month of March, as well as raising awareness about what happens inside a treatment facility.
Common fears discourage people from seeking treatment. We want to alleviate your fears, because treatment is well worth it!
RIGHT - Each patient has the right to treatment and information without regard to age, colour, culture, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical or mental disability, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status.
RESPONSIBILITY - Each patient is responsible for not discriminating against any health care worker or staff member on the basis of their race, origin, gender, or any other ground.
